Hey great news – despite losing to Davydenko, Fer has moved up to a career-high No. 7 in ATP rankings this week! Enhorabuena Fer!!!! And Gonzalez is also back in the Top Ten :D
Apologies – I got a bit carried away there – correction: he’s still at No. 9 in ATP rankings, but he’s No.7 in the year-to-date points, Fena Gonzalez is No. 8, and Davydenko is currently at No. 10 (despite the win). Sorry for confusion!
Hey, that’s still positive news, meaning he still definitely has a chance to snag a spot in the YEC as long as he does well in Beijing, Shanghai and Paris. Fingers crossed!
